Hello all.
I was at my LFS today and whilst browsing the tanks, a troop of ropefish caught my eye. They're really fascinating creatures and i would love to own three or four of them. Would they be happy in my 50gal planted tank? It has sand not gravel, plenty of hiding places and a heavy lid with minimal gaps ( I've heard they're excellent escape artists, luckily my tank is prepared for this as i used to house a crayfish in there!) However, there may be a stocking issue as i have about 30 red cherry shrimp and 5 Endlers... i assume these will be made a meal of almost instantly.??? or is there any hope? perhaps i should think about starting up a new tank minus the bitesize meals, but if theres any hope that these creatures can live in harmony I'm all for it.

thanks for the help.
Jem

Shrimps will be meals surely. Better shift your shrimps to another tank
