Can someone pls tell me what fish is this?

Hi all
I am new here... Could some one kindly tell me what fish is this?
Some one gave this told me its a oto... But somehow it doesn't look like one...

It's not an otocinclus like any I've ever seen. It looks like a loach of some sort to me. Almost like a weather loach, but the body seems too short versus the height of the fish.

Definitely a loach, though I'm not familiar enough with them to identify it to species. I'll post more if I come up with anything.

to me look like a CAE or a some sort of a sand loach?? I am really clueless... wonder cuz its so small...
its sitting on the floor or on top of my big leaf plants most of the time.. just chilling..

+1 on the loach. If it had the stripes I would swear it was a sumo loach.

Don't think it sumo loach as it is not that color

I think it's a zipper loach or peppered loach.

Edit: I was not saying that it is a sumo loach. Simply mentioning that it's a very similar shape and so is most likely a loach rather than a cae as someone else suggested.

The peppered loach guess looks pretty close - so likely it (Lepidocephalichthys guntea) or some other species of Lepidocephalichthys.

Just wonder that are these guys compatible with shrimps?? I am afraid that this guy grew up and decided to have my entire tank of shrimp for lunch

This loach shouldn't be a problem with shrimp. Obviously you wouldn't put small shrimps with the loach.
