Can you mix haps and tropheus.

I have a 75 gallon tank with some haps. I really want as some tropheus
But I do not know if the haps will eat them. so can you mix them or not.

I wouldn't recommend it. They are endemic to different lakes and have different requirements.

Well I can work around that.I'm talking about the haps being a predator and the tropheus being pray.

I kept a Dubois with my mbuna till I lost him switching out tanks so not as hardy as mbuna but they didn't mess with him and he actually didn't like my bees wen they were first added chased and nip there tails so to answer you question I think it could work jus watch what u feed them because they dnt tolerate high protein and haps do.

I've seen it done, but really wouldn't recommend it. Trophs actually do best in large single species colonies.
