Can you put venus fly traps in a planted aquarium

Just asking, saw them on tv and thought it would look cool in a tank
 
As stated, not in a true aquarium, but some people have been able to keep them successfully in paludariums.

They can be kept underwater for small periods of time 2-3 weeks. But after that if they aren't removed they will die. In mature they are often under water in the spring when it floods.

I still wouldn't try to out my venue flytrap underwater.

Indeed, when you plant them in a paludarium, you plant them in the land portion, not the water portion.
