I just added mine yesterday he is out quite a lot and I may say quite territorial towards my other shrimp. They are so fascinating to watch especially when you drop food in haha

I know thay are awsome I had one a few yrs back that was very active like yours but this one I have had for about a yr and hes just shy lol

I thought he attacked my goby but he just thought it was a shrimp and realised he's bigger so hes scared of him now haha. When the goby comes out and swims around he goes inside but when he's in the fire shrimp comes out, there's always something amazing to look at

Very nice. I have one on my list. I have been told to add them close to the end of my stocking so the tank is well established but man, it is hard to wait. One of my LFS has one that looks just like that and I want him. I am afraid someone will snatch him up before I can. I have seen some at other LFS that are not solid red like that. Not sure if they are different species or if it just varies with Fire Shrimp. I want one that looks like yours.

Lol I got lucky with him I got him for cheap. Hes my favorit. As far as when to add them imo as long as your salinaty is stable and temp I think you should be ok. I know thay dont like fluxuation of tenp or salt
