hi everyone,
just a quick question, i currently have a AquaOne AquaStyle 510 with a built in wet and dry filter in the hood. my question is, the instructions say to replace the carbon filter cartridges every 6 weeks, but most places i have read say this will get rid of good bacteria, so i'm not sure what to do. i have read somewhere that the filter is designed so that bacteria doesn't grow in the carbon cartridges and the filter does have the ceramic noodles.
what about toxins that are apparently released when they are not replaced
any help would be good thanks.
