Howmany cardinal tetras could I put in a 10 gallon? They will be the only fish in there. Also, what is the best food for them and will they eat RCS shrimplets? Here is the tank:

Filter is an aquaclear 30 and I do a 50% waterchange once a week.

I would say you could probably do six or so....now I'm not sure if they will eat the shrimp let's or not but there is a good possibility that they could

Some people would say that cardinals need a 20, and while that is probably a BETTER size for them, I don't think they would be bashing the walls of the tank in a 10. You could have about 6. They will most likely eat shrimplets that they come upon, but I don't think the population would truly be in danger, as they wouldn't be trying to hunt them down or anything.

I have cardinals and IMO they shouldn't go in a 10g. Maybe ember tetras or chilli rasboras?

You could put 20 neon tetras almost like a cardinal tetra in a 10 Gallon with no issues, hell even 2-3 shrimp also added. Just have good filtration and 50% water changes. It will work.

no that won't "work", Tetras are very active fish so 10gs isn't alot if space for them to swim and be ACTIVE! It doesn't matter what filtration or WCs you have/do...
