Hi, i am in the process of building a new tank, and while my local petshop is making the tank, i am trying to gather some decorations.
Yesterday i have found a few carob wood in very nice shape. They have been left outside for the last 2 years and had all rain and other stuff. I have stripped the swelling shell from it.
Can it be used in an aquarium? (Of course after a dew days of boiling)
I want to learn if anyone experienced using a carob wood in a tank, will it rot in water after some time?
