From what I've read, a lot of mandarin gobies starve to death in tanks that are not mature because there aren't sufficient numbers of copepods, etc., in the substrate to nourish them.
My question is this: how do you QT one for 30 days? I assume the QT tank won't have a lush menu of 'pods in the substrate. Will they also eat other foods? I've read that they are very difficult to feed and have a dismal survival rate, except in mature reef setups.
