What's the best type of small catfish for my new 46 Litre community Aquarium?

Yes, of course. Most catfish do better in groups.

I've got 3 pictus catfish and love them !!!!!! They are very active swimmers and love plenty of the bottom space if you can provide it. They usually only grow to 5 or 6 inches, so they don't require a really huge tank.

I would go with otocinclus algae eaters.

I have a group of 4 panda cory in my sons 50litre and love them to bits i only had them for 4 days and they layed eggs i would go a group of 5 pygmy corys or a group of 4 pandas they are the smallest 2 cory catfish as far as i know. It is a 46l long tank or high? If its high i wouldnt do the corys.
