Chaeto and Pods in Hypo

Can these survive in Hyposalinity? Next weekend makes 8 weeks fallow for my 240g. I've kept it at hypo levels, but plan to do close to a 100% water change and get salinity back to normal on the 30th. I have someone local selling Chaeto with pods. I was thinking of buying it and throwing in the fuge if it will all survive.

I think they should. Don't know of why they wouldn't.

I figured that if it is okay for fish, then it should be okay for at least the algae. I was not sure how sensitive pods are. Just don't want to waste money if it wasn't going to live.

Not sure about the pods. The cheato won't really grow much but it shouldn't die off.

I only plan to have it hypo for a little while longer. Gotta go buy a couple of boxes of salt next week. I'm almost considering just tossing it in the tank I am holding the frags in to ensure the pods live and then just move it over.

That might work out if the guy does this normally the deal could probably wait too.

I guess he does it every few weeks. I'm going to get some today and see how it goes.
