Two weeks ago, I decided to change my tank.

I wanted to have more live plants and more corydoras in there, so I decided to go for Seachem Flourite. I removed the UGF and kept the old HOB filter for the bacteria. I also added some of the old gravel. I added a few live plants and got another lightbulb.

I checked the water daily to make sure the levels were right, then added my Corydoras. I already had 1 Corydoras Trillineatus (my favorite type of Cory) and bought 4 new Corydoras Trillineatus. Needless to say, they just rock the tank. ;)

Today, I also added an awesome male betta. I just -had- to buy that one. His colors are great.

Him and the Corys seem to be getting along and the water levels are still fine. :)

Just felt like sharing that.

I really love cory cats too, and your combo sounds great. It looks like you handled the switch just right. Keep checking the water params over the next week or two.
