Changing my tank

Well...that's a drastic measure, but it may be the only answer that will fix your situation. I've done it before myself and it really did wind up being the only good answer to my situation at the time.

I have two tanks and both of them have a big diatom problem so I looked around and found that high silicates could cause the problem. I read that silicates can leach out of the gravel and come from tap water so I was wondering should I use seachem phosguard?
