I am going to get a 29 gallon tank with:2 dwarf gouramis, 7 zebra danios, 7 cherry danios. I want to get shrimp to take care of the algae on the plants, but I don't know which one to get.

Ammo shrimps are a good option as they are larger, eat algae, and if you wanted a flower or bamboo small shrimp, they would get along. See cherries are colorful but are likely to get picked of by the gouramis while the flower shrimp is more of a filter feeder then anything.

As for the flower shrimp, make sure you have good flow some where in the tank when it fully matures so it can filter feed easier.
