Chinese algae eater!

So my Chinese algae eater likes to lay underneath the heater and dig a hole in the sand. Normal?

Not the greatest quality but this is him or her. Anyone know how to sex these bad boys?

This is normal but caes are bad additions to community aquariums

It's not a community tank at the moment but my friends tank is cycling and im holding him until her tank cycles.
