Chocolate Zebra Plec

So I introduced a chocolate zebra Plec in to my tank on Friday. He immediately swam and hid on the bogwood in my tank. Today I cleaned my tank out. Lifted all the ornaments. The Plec is nowhere to be seen. I have a lid on my tank so there is no way out? I'm so confused!?

If you have hollow ornaments he may be inside. Hope you didn't kill him by accident. No hollow ornaments around Catfish that they might get stuck in.

I hope you find him. Check in filter, behind tank, etc...

I have hollow ornaments that he isn't in. I have taken filter out and cleaned it so not there and I've looked behind tank but as I said I have a lid so he couldn't get out. Would he bury himself in the sand?

Hmmm maybe, I doubt it. Any chance he got eaten ?

No. He was pretty big. Probably the biggest in the tank
