Clean up crews

Just started the nitrogen cycle. How long do I have to wait before adding clean up crews, like hermit crabs for example?

you can add them once the cycle is complete I.e. you have dosed ammonia and it is back down to zero. may be worth doing big water change before too though as invert are sensative to nitrates etc. try and add them in slowly and dont go over board with the cuc straght away though
