I can't get snails as I have clown loaches... I have a pleco but he's not eating much of the algae on the plants...
It's quite near a window (the only space big enough in my flat) so gets hit by sunlight a bit...
I have the lights on for 11 hours a day, so might cut that to about 7 hours and are if that helps!
