Hey i just got a tank off kijijji and its nasty like hella. Grimy and i was just wondering how to clean it it was salt and im going to fresh i think :& not to sure yet

Warm water and vinegar will do the job either way

its really bad thou like its the worst tank iv ever seen its hard and crusted on

Yup, fill it up and let it sit overnight. If its coralline (pink) you may need a paint scraper to get it off

Some of it is pink and then green and white it was salt so i know some of it isnt dirt or grim but salt. How much do i use ?
