Cloudy tank

Hey guys


Last night my tank suddenly became extremely cloudy within a 30 min period but this morning it was crystal clear again. Does anyone know what happened???

Is it a new tank?

No it's been set up for almost 2 months but it has been crystal clear for theist 6 weeks

Mini cycle, bac bloom then cleared up with filter, maybe

Yeah that's what I was gonna say. New fish? Newfilter cartridge? Anything different?

We added some new fish around a week ago

Uv. Sterilizer

I am all for correct cycling and such but my uv sterilizer has kept my water crystal clear and it kills free floating algae and prevents random bacteria blooms. Good luck!

Probably was a mini bacterial bloom from increase ammonia from the new fish, should be fine.
