Aquarium Advice Regular
It's been about 4 weeks this coming tuesday that I have been cycling my tank. I am cycling with fish.
Today I woke to a cloudy tank. I'll break down some info so maybe a solution can be found.
I have 4 fish ( Not added all at once.) 2 Zebra danios ( my starter fish) and 2 juli cory cats.
When I added the cory cats I had ammonia spikes ( as I knew I would and took care of accordingly)
Then yesterday I tested my water expecting to have my typical .50 ppm. Instead I got .25ppm and no nitrite and no nitrate. I did my 25% water change.
Then today I woke to some cloudy water and I tested my water thinking I had a huge spike of some sort. Nope. This time I got 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, and 0 nitrate.
I have an API master liquid test kit. And I've had that for a while now so I know its not the test kit.
Any insights to what's happening? Did I do something really wrong?
All I use for my water is stress coat ( it dechlorinates to destresses the fish). That's all I use.
