clown loach ich

i have recently got 4 clown loaches, i added them to my tank and have noticed they have ich, so far i have cranked the heater up to 86, added table salt, added an air stone, and have been doing 30% water changes with the gravel vac every other day, is there anything else i can be doing, they are swimming around like young puppy dogs, so i think they feel ok. thanks

Hopefully you didn't just crank it up to 86 and did it somewhat slower to allow them to acclimate properly. Other than that I would just keep up with the water changes and gravel vacs.

i did it a couple of clicks at a time over two days, is that ok

Yeah that's perfect I just saw crank and was a little worried. Haha no you'll be just fine. Give em about 10 days or so and you should see some results in that time. Remember to keep the temp up for about 3 or so days after to ensure its all gone.

ok thanks, ha ha crank is a bit of an bad word in this case, i take it clown loaches get ich quite often then?

Yeah. Just like pleco's they're more prone to it as they don't have scales.
