Clown loach question

Okay, I currently have a 29 gal tank with one small angelfish, one small blue acara, a snowball and albino pleco, and 5 neons. I also have quite a few snails. My question is, could a clown loach rid of these snails? Is my tank to small for clown loaches?
Btw, the tank is planted and has a good amount of wood for hiding.
My guess is that the clown loaches would not work in my tank due to the size of it and the fish I have. That true?

Correct, clown loaches are far too large growing fish for a 29G sorry. Have you considered assassin snails?

Yes I'll probably go that route. Main reason I thought loaches was because my father has some and they destroy snails, and I like em
But I certainly don't want unhappy fish.
