Clown pleco

Just bought one for my 40gal. Anybody had experience with these? Anything I should know?

And also, would a bushynose pleco go ok in a 40gal with the clown?

All i can say is make sure you have some driftwood for it to munch on they like it and need it in their diet.

YOu should try to put up pics if you can. IMO, a bushy nose should be fine in there as well. Ditto on the driftwood.

if its a 40gal you should be fine with those 2 plecos, they stay small and there should be enough room in the tank for them as long as you have enough hidding spots in the tank

I'll try to get a picture, he's quick though. I have a little peice of driftwood but i've been looking for some cool bigger peices anyway. I think ill get the bushynose next week

Good luck getting a pic of your clown pleco, I rarely see mine . He's always hiding and sticks to the driftwood. Very peaceful, doesn't disturb my plants and when you can spot him fun to watch

Well, thats still a decent enough shot. Clowns are such cute little guys. If something ever happened to my pitbull plecos, I would get a clown.

So cute!! Mines still young but maybe he'll show himself more as he matures...that would be cool.

Nice! How big is that one?

The lfs also has snowball plecos that look way cool but I got a bristlenose instead

He is doing great! He comes out all the time and isn't even scared of me anymore
