Nitrites: 5ppm
Nitrates: 5ppm

I would wait longer just to be safe. At least 3 weeks depending on tank size.

What are you using for ammonia source? You will still need one.

Sulphate of ammonia, works a treat and you only need a very small amount. Ive got 5kg of the stuff so ill never run out. Why wait three weeks? If your cycle is done its done.

I've seen where the levels look right but then they spike once you start adding livestock.

Ill be adding more ammonia to extend the cycle to increase my systems efficiency. By the time I add a couple of small fish there will be no way they will overload my system. Ill be keeping a very close eye on their progress that's for sure
