If all of my platies are red, gold, and yellow and they breed are those the only colors that will come out of it or is there a chance to get blues or greens in there too?

Or should I go get a blue male?

Without knowing the past genetics of the fish it's impossible to know.

So there could be a slight chance possibly?

There are soo many different factors in play that we cant give you a direct answer.

Assuming their colors are both dominant genes and other colors are recessive and also assuming both parents have the same recessive colors then around 1/4 of them could have those colors.

Thats a ton of assumptions so basically, theres no way to know until you try.

I wouldnt bet on it happening though.

If you are looking for them to have blue babies I would get a blue male to up the chances.
