I've attached some pictures, sorry for the quality. I'm curious as my guppy fry are of course getting older, and for some reason the bigger ones have no desire to eat the young to cull numbers...anyway.

My 2 month old guppies have little to no color (just started turning slightly yellow-orange. This small one I tried to get close-up on is already showing color-dark lines and tail-fin has dark patches, the youngest a few weeks old.

Also attached are a picture of the father (lfs keeps males/females separate) and mother...george (wife named him) and isis. Just curious, is it normal for some to get colors so early/late?

...funny how mom and dad were willing to stay still enough for pictures lol

How early or late they develop colors is influenced by several things like genetics, diet, temperature, and things like that. Some variation in the time for color developing is normal. I have had some that color practically instantly, and some waited for awhile. :)
