I found an ideal container for slow dripping my CA hydroxide (lime water); however, this plastic container is intended for drinking water & its label says it is mold resistant. Someone said to me that if it is intended for use for human consumption, then it should be OK for my reef. I am concerned the plastic may be infused with chemicals that may kill good bacteria in my tank. Any comments?

I wouldn't worry too much about it. If it is FDA approved it ought to be just fine for use on your tank.
