Convicts

How big are convicts when they are fully grown and when are they sexually mature?

They reach about 5 or 6 inches in length. I've seen some large males.

Yeah, there was definately some 'heavy petting' between my Male Sajica and Female Convict before i noticed my L200 had half of his dorsal fin missing for getting too close. I seperated them shortly after and my L200's fin was back to normal about 4 weeks later!

Anyway, anything in the 'Cryptoheros' would be probable to cross breed with a Convict, but the HRP and Sajica would be the most likely.

Size wise, convicts rarely get above 3" for female and 4" for male but you could get them about 30% larger than that in extreme cases.

When I had convicts my male reached about 6 1/2 inches.
