Hey guys, not sure if this is the right place on the forum to post this. But I was wondering how you guy cool your tanks in the summer. I have a community tank as well as mixed cichlid tank. This is my first experience with the summer temperatures. I do not have an ac In my room. And cannot afford a chiller. So what else can I do to keep my temperature normal?

Lighting plays a big part as well as lids. LEDs will reduce high temps drastically and proping open lids or even removing them will help to exhaust heat.

All you need to do is get some coke or any soda bottles fill hem about 3/4 full and freeze them. Them float them in the tank.
