I just recently purchased a baby coral banded shrimp. Yesterday I noticed my maroon clownfish's top fin was cut up in the shape of how you would cut a pizza. I suspected it could have been the coral shrimp. This morning I turned on the tank lights and noticed the shrimp by the maroon clown with its tentacles all over the fish. I assume it was cleaning it. My clownfish does not have an anemone. I was wondering will the banded shrimp eventually kill my clown or is this just a one time deal? What I figured out is how hard it is to feed the shrimp. I also noticed it by the other rock and trying to catch my coral beauty and yellow tail damsel. I noticed everytime the fish would go buy the coral, he would reach out his claw. Thanks

Coral banded are indeed something of a terrorist, and it is not uncommon to find stories of them killing fish while they are sleeping.
