coral fragging sucessful!!!!

I fragged 2 different mushroom corals. One hairy, One purple. And they were measured exactly with a ruler at one inch. Four days later I fed my fish as always and went to go get some coral vite to give my mushrooms. When I checked to insert it near the frags the halves had already completely grown into 1 inch pieces! Has anyone had frags grow this fast?

Hey I just got some mushrooms not su what kind they are, but I would like to frag them. How big do they have to be before you cut them?
