Just found this egg whilst trying to squish the gazillion groups of snail eggs.

Is this fungus on it - it kind of looks like its been caught up with an Amano shrimp molt, but then does look a bit fluffy.

I am presuming it is cory egg, although can't see anymore, I have taken it out and its in a small glass dish for now.

Ideas, suggestions welcome ;)

Thanks and appreciation in advance.

Jen

Update

Do it looks like it is a molt but is it an egg or part of the molt?

Thoughts please ?

sigh - I thought it might be when I got it out of the tank and into a jug - well that is probably the only air bubble to receive a lot of care and concern lol.

Red Neon Blue Eye babies

I found two tiny red neon blue eyes hanging out the other day, so I caught them (finally they are quick little things) and put them in a breeder - so excited.

I don't have much look finding eggs in the mops, but I just leave them to it and as and when I see any babies bobbing around, I'll catch them and put them in there.

My shrimp also hang out in those mops so I can't take them out of the tank to check for eggs either, not sure if they go in their to have their babies too - wouldn't it be great to be able to communicate to figure out what they are up to lol

One of the babies is camera shy lol

most of the shrimp are active and out and about its just when I go to move the breeding mop thing there is generally one hanging about in there.

I have a couple of berried females at the moment which is cool seeing them, one was berried a month or so ago, which makes me think that is the one hanging out in the mop and will have or had her babies there - but then I have no idea if it is the same one each time lol.

They come to the front at feeding time and much down with the bottom dwellers and then go back to checking everywhere out lol
