One of my CPOs molted yesterday and he's currently hiding out up in the silk plants while he recovers. I think he mustve had an encounter with the other CPO because he's missing a claw today (it was there yesterday). So since he's in hiding he's not able to eat his old shell. Is this going to be a big problem? Ive tried spot feeding him some Crab Cuisine, but he doesnt seem interested.

Also, I typically do my PWCs on Thursdays (today) but figured Id skip it so as not to disturb him. How long should I wait? Just wait until he comes down and resumes normal activity?

I would until his new shell hardens a little.

A thought, perhaps you can move what you can of his old shell to his current hiding spot? Should help him out some.
