No offense but I feel like I'm playing a game of "where's Waldo". Can you circle the crab in the pic?

How about this mantis?

Sorry about the brown diatoms - the tanks has just been cycling 4 days!
Check this site. Great info on stomatopods.

I downloaded the pics, played with the brightness/contrast and BINGO! I spy with my little eye....

yup, that's a red mithrax. AKA emerald, only red. They are primarily algea eaters but the red seem to occasionally take pinch at a softy (I had one try and nibble on an injured anemone once as well). I wouldn't worry about him though until a zoanthid or two come up missing. And I normally i recognize those little eyes anywhere, bt the pic is hard to tell. Unless my mind is seeing what it wants to see though, I would say you are corract and have a stomapod (mantis) as well.

I have a mantis in my 20 gallon tank. I put him in a little light plastic ziplock throwaway container with lots of holes. He is only about an inch long and I have heard that when Bandit gets bigger he might eat my fish. I have a $40 fish named Fantasie, among other fish that I have. I can't get a good pic of him but he seems quite happy in his Astro snail shell home. He moved right in, after I fished him from my live rock in a three hour process with a turkey baster. Good luck with the mantis. My Bandit is black and white at the moment and I think his name suits him fine. like I said before, good luck with yours.
