crazy cory

I have a peppered corydora who just started freaking out a little while ago.. he keeps swimming up to the top, maybe poking his mouth out but I cant quite tail.. and then just zipping around like a frantic little madman.. everyone else in the tank is behaving normally... is ok? what is he up to?

He's behaving like a cory. They do like to gulp air from the surface.

Corys absorb O2 via their gut much the same way bettas aborb it via their labrynth organ. Don't panic if you notice your corys farting out air bubbles - that's normal too!
