creeping charlie re-starts

I have purchased 3 creeping charlie plants fro my 20g, they are doing amazing but I was wondering if I can take cuttings off of them and restart them in another part of my tank, if I can take clippings what is the best way to do so.
 
Yes, it propagates just dandy like that. You can also trim it down to something like a carpet if you have decent light.

The stems are very thin so I take scissors and trim them, then use tongs to place them in the gravel in a new spot. They won't stay put if you try to use your fingers.
