Mine melted slowly down to about 2 inches from the stalk after I planted them. How hopeful should I be that they ever come back? I've read that they take a looooong time to adjust.

Why did it melt though? It might have been just that transition that shocked it, but it could also be an environmental issue that needs to be addressed. What's your entire setup?

4 watts per gallon t5 lights. Co2 system. Plant substrate with nutrients. Fertilizer dosed twice a week. 100 gallons (3 feet tall)

When I moved my two out of the very high light tank to a dimmer tank they had alittle leaf melt but adjusted and started growing again, just much slower. I've found they don't like being moved as the same thing happened when I moved one to a 12g Fluval Edge.
