Cured LR question.

What should I look for in cured LR?
Should I see a bunch of stuff growing on it?

One of my LFS sells cured LR. It doesn't look very colorful though. Maybe it's because her tanks aren't very bright. Well, there not dark, just not as lit up as I think they ought to be. But then again, I'm new to this so what do I know.

you should see tons of stuff on it, different colors and shapes...
