Cycling new tank; ammonia

Hello! I have started up a new 2.5 gallon freshwater tank. I have been cycling a little over a week.

My ammonia level is at 2.0 ppm
My nitrites are about .25, a little less but not 0
My nitrates are at about 10.

my ammonia was at 4.0 yesterday and I didn't have nitrites or nitrates at all.

How much longer should it take for the ammonia to drop down so I can put fish in? Thanks

I'd say it's well on the way but another few weeks to get stable and mature as well. What were you thinking of stocking?
