I am currently cycling a 40 gallon freshwater tank with fish in it. It has guppies, tetras, and danios. My question is if using a product called " Tetra AmmoniaSafe" will or could interfere with the cycle. The ammonia leveling keeps spiking up but still no nitrites or nitrates after 2 weeks. I want some of these fish to live so im trying to balance getting the cycle done and keeping them alive. Is it ok to use this product or will it stop the cycle? I read that it could somehow interfere after detoxifying. I already am doing water changes. Also if I kept guppies in this tank for a month in this water and bought a new tiger oscar, would he get sick from eating these fish up who were in that water? Thanks
