Well, I don't know if this thing is starting to cycle or if the change in water is from my decorations and new media.
My ammonia readings went from 4.0 ppm for the first 6 days down to 2.0 ppm this morning, day 7.
Last night I added some boiled wood (to get the tannins out) and added 2 liters of Seachem Matrix media to my Fluval 405. I left my original BioMax in there.
I'm hoping it's starting to make yogurt and soon I can add fish!
