de-chlorinating water!

Hi there,
does boiling tap water remove the chlorine?
(i've run out of de chlorinator, my tank's way over due for a water change, and my lfs isn't open today) Becky...XxX

Boiling the water will remove the chlorine (gas) but not the chloramine. So I agree with the previous advice. Short answer no, you will still require to use a good dechlorinator.
 
Depends if you have chlorine or chloramine. It also depends on how big a change you are doing if you actually need a dechlor.

You should always use de-chlorinator, big or small change...
