Dead fish

So my clown finally kicked the bucket this morning I just can't find him? Should I start moving rocks to pull him out? Will his decaying body mess up my water?

That all depends, do you have crabs, or any other clean up crew (CUC)?
I know in my tank, a dead fish wouldn't last very long at all, thankfully I haven't had to worry about that lately.
