Hey all! I am new here and have a question. I had two Common Pleco in an outdoor feature pond with Goldfish and a Koi. They were a little over a year old and were doing very well. They had gotten to about 6 inches long. Sunday my husband took the weed eater to the monkey grass that is around the patio and above ground pond. Some of the debris did get into the water. Everything I read said monkey grass was not toxic to fish. Monday morning one of the Pleco was dead already and the other one died a few hours later. The goldfish are fine. I went ahead and vacuumed out the pond and cleaned the filters. There was some debris in there but not so much as to mess up the water parameters. what could have happened? Any ideas?
