Dempsey zit!

Hi, my jack dempsey has, what can only be described as a zit just behind its eye. Does anyone know what it is and if it can be treated. Also while I'm here what sex do you think.

Looks like some kind of tumor or infection. I'm not great with treatments or diseases thiugh

I would say male.

The problem with the "zit" is it could be different things. Sometimes fish get them and they go away and never come back and sometimes they come back in other areas. But it could also be the start of a tumor that will grow into something bigger. Only time will tell.
