Didn't notice him for a week

I was looking in my take today and noticed somthing strange moving around in the darkness. Finally i got a good look at it in the light. Its a red mantis shrimp. He is about 2 inches long and the live rock has been in there for a little over 2 weeks with no sounds or sightings. And i just put my cleanup crew in yesterday along with 3 peppermint shrimp and a CBS. I thought i was home free because i have been looking at the tank everyday and never saw anything. I guess he could hide pretty well.

I got him. I tried to make a bottle trap, but it never worked. Everytime he would come out to and swim inbetween the rocks i would watch him. Finally he went inside of a smaller rock on the top. I pulled the rock and dipped it in FW. He jumped out and now he is in my sump awaiting his fate. He is not very pretty, just plain red.
