Exactly what came with the tank.. 105W/BW - CF Quad 115 V-1PH-60Hz is what the side of the tank says.

I think that's just because of taking it on my iPhone. It doesn't look too bright normally.

I have a question though.. What do you normally feed? I read a lot about variety and what not. I have flakes and also shrimp. I attached pictures of what I use.

I use flakes, pellets and a variety of frozen foods for my tanks. brine, mysis, bloodworms.....

I mix up some of everything and put it in a big red party cup and go from tank to tank with the mixture. Saves me from having to mix food everyday too as the cup can hold a couple days worth of food. :)

Same as Carey I feed a mixture of things. I also feed little pieces of raw shrimp. The crabs and nassarius snails go crazy when I put a piece of meat in the tank. I just grab it at the fish counter in the grocery store, cut into small pieces and frezze it. Gonna try some scallop next time. Tasty.......

Weeeeey and finally there's carey!:)
Looks so much better, everyone's collective knowledge is coming together, keep up the good work and your maintenance will become easy, lookin great!

Some stuff showing up on the sand throughout the day. Not as bad as before though. I plan on changing out more water ASAP. Some of this algae is a purple color.

The purple hard stuff, or purple slimy stuff? Ya have to make sure you are consistent with the water changes. It's the best way to export exccess nutrients. This is one area that can not be slacked. :)

Here is a picture of it right when the lights turned on today. It'll get worse throughout the day. I plan on going to get more water today to change it before I go out of town tomorrow.

Try getting a sand sifter sea star. I used to have a very ugly sand bed too until I got my sand sifter sea star :)

Well this is frustrating. The water seems much better but the sand is still dirty. Not as bad as before but still there.

Just changed out 10 gallons and replaced the filter floss. Hopefully it helps!

Keep up the water changes. It is already looking better. With saltwater it's not going to clear up in a week. It takes time. I can't stress more about water changes. Get rid of the nutrients!!!
