Dirty tank

Hey AA we recently picked up a 10 gallon aquarium (from the side of the road) and it is really scummy so I am trying to figure out how to clean it I looked it up on Google and they said to use a bleach and water mixture but I know you aren't supposed to use chemical cleaners so what do you guys think

As long as you rinse it well and there's no bleach smell you should be fine

They usually say to use bleach/water, rinse really well & then set outside in the sun for a day or two. You may need to use vinegar to clean the glass not sure if bleach will get everything off. Also, make sure you check the silicone very well & do a water test. If its been sitting outside in the elements for a length of time it could be compromised, better to find out now than after you have it set up.
