Hi, I've owned discus for about a year now. I added Co2 to my tank a couple of days ago very slowly. I am monitoring it closely with a drop checker and the drop checker isn't even green yet so the Co2 isn't even close to overdosing. One of my normal happy discus has decided to hide in the corner with it's head pointing upwards. She is not breathing rapidly. Just staying still in the corner face up. Any ideas what on earth is happening? Do you think the Co2 is stressing it? None of the other discus seemed fazed at all.
I've decided to turn off the Co2 to see what happens. It's been about an hour now and no change
Can some discus get stressed from small amounts of Co2 and not others?
My water parametres are fine btw. No ammonia or nitrite etc. 300 litre planted tank.
